We are dedicated to walking alongside our community members who need support. That's why we're fueling the future with Rocket Fuel. Our mission is to ensure that children attending Title One schools have enough food over weekends and school breaks, giving them the nourishment they need to thrive.
WHAT THE ROCKET FUEL PROGRAM PROVIDES
The Rocket Fuel program provides supplemental meals and snacks for school aged children experiencing hunger at home. Students are provided with a bag of nonperishable food that they take home and eat when school meal programs are unavailable. These bags are distributed at school to participating children in plastic or reusable bags by their teacher as they leave Friday or before a long break. Our program provides enough food to replace the meals that children would receive at school (two breakfasts, two lunches, four snack options, fruit and vegetable cups, and juice) plus three dinners.
Each participating child receives a bag of nonperishable food, distributed by teachers on Fridays or before school breaks. These bags contain:

These nutritious food packs ensure that children don’t go hungry when school is not in session, empowering them to return to school well-fed and ready to succeed.
