Rocket Fuel started with one simple idea: no child in Anchorage should have to be hungry. We began as a small project helping 50 students at one school. Today, we help more than 600 children across the city by giving them healthy, ready-to-eat meals.

With help from the Juanita Strong Forever Project and Henning Inc., we work with local schools and recreation centers to make sure kids have good, nutritious food all year. During the school year, children receive items like fresh fruit and sandwiches. In the summer, we serve free lunches at community centers. Our goal is to make sure kids have food even when school cafeterias are closed, because hunger does not take a break.

Rocket Fuel is more than a meal program. It is a team effort made possible by caring volunteers and strong community partners. Every meal we give out brings hope and helps kids stay healthy. It gives them the energy they need to learn, grow, and do their best every day.

As we grow, our mission stays the same: to support children and strengthen our community, one meal at a time.
